Hilly Kristal - dead

Hilly Kristal, the man who owned and operated CBGB’s in New York until it closed last year, has died from lung cancer.
Although CBGB’s was opened to showcase Country Bluegrass and Blues bands, it really was the home to punk.  Blondie, The Talking Heads and The Ramones all got their start there.

The Muppets on America’s Got Talent

Terry Fator is an amazing ventriloquist/impersonator.  He actually won the entire competition.
This is from the final results show.  The 4 finalists performed with celebrities.  Here Terry is with his puppet, Kermit, and a few chickens.  The judges were replaced with Animal, Beaker, and The Sweedish Chef.
