Oklahoma going to Epcot
The state of Oklahoma will have a booth featured at this year’s Epcot Food & Wine Festival.
Although they are saying that Oklahoma is the first state to have a booth at the festival, this is really not the case. I’ve had the fortune of attending the Food & Wine Festival a few times and I do remember Florida having a booth showcasing citrus and seafood. So they must mean that this is the first time that a state other than Florida has had a booth.
The description of the Oklahoma booth makes it sound as if it is going to be a little larger than the normal food stall installations. In the past, larger temporary structures have been built showcasing Spain and Austrailia. What is interesting is that these were located deep inside World Showcase. The Florida booth was towards the front of the park near the Future World section.
