My buddies and I pulled a ton of pranks in high school.  We never did anything that was destructive or illegal and were well liked by the teachers and administration (we got away with a lot more than we probably should have).

This prank is brilliant and is along the lines of the type of stuff we did.  I love it that they got so many kids to be in on it.  Also that they kept it quiet.  Usually there is at least one big mouth of a large group who says something and the faculty get wind of it.

The two buildings of the school are connected by an underground tunnel.  Although the cow and chicken are funny, I would have kept them out of it.  They made it apparent that the kids were “recycling”.  I also would have had random hat and coat switches in the halls just to keep the group looking more random.
