Most puppets that are sold on eBay are pretty bad. On occasion, a really good looking puppet will pop up. Here is an example.

The copyright issues are a little sketchy. The biggest being that he is selling it as a Jack Sparrow puppet. One way to get around these issues would be to bill it as a Pirate Captain or Movie Pirate Captain or something along those lines. Descriptive enough that you know what it is or what it is inspired by, but not so specific that you could anger Disney lawyers. He’s also billing it as a “Muppet-style” puppet. It is a puppet. Throwing “Muppet” in there is slightly misleading. This type of stuff bothers me for some reason. Probably more than it should.

Anyway, the puppet is pretty cool IMHO
