The mind(s) behind Desktop Tower Defense formed a game development group called “Kongregate”.

N3wton is one of their latest games. It is based off of Newton’s 3rd law of motion - for every action, there is an equal, but opposite reaction. You are a little white bulb of a thing that can shoot. Every shot you fire, you recoil a little bit. You can build up energy and fire a stronger shot, but your recoil is even greater. Your enemy are black bulbous things. They shoot at you too. However, they do not recoil. Your goal is to knock them off of the screen before they knock you off.

Easy? Not so much. You have to figure out a balance between the number of shots you fire at your enemy vs. the number of shots you have to fire behind you to keep yourself on the field. The environment also plays a role. It can help you. It can also hurt you. I made it to level 4 before deciding that I needed to write about it. It took several tries to figure the balance out, but the game was still pretty challenging.

I’d suggest going to the options screen immediately and turning off the music and sounds. They get annoying fast.
