Back with a Mai Tai on the House
It seems that every October through early January real life invades and doesn’t give up. Part of it has to do with the holidays in general and hand-making Christmas cards. Lots of family and friends birthdays in there too. And then work, the not-so-fun stuff that puts food on the table and rum on the shelf. Lots and lots of work. So much so that the little free time I have, I don’t want to spend online.
Well, Christmas 2007 has come and gone. No birthdays for a month or so. And work is relenting… somewhat.
What to do now?
Make a Mai Tai, of course!
Here’s Trader Vic’s Original Recipie– and what I think is the best. No matter your taste, if a Mai Tai is pink, send it back.
2 oz Jamaican Rum
1/2 oz Orgeat Syrup
1/2 oz Orange Curacao
1/4 oz Simple Syrup
Juice from 1 Fresh Lime
