I’ve been a fan of Alice Cooper for a long time.  How long?  Ever since his appearance on The Muppet Show.  It wasn’t until about 20 years later that I actually got to see him in concert.  Well worth the wait.

Terry Fator is an amazing ventriloquist/impersonator.  He actually won the entire competition.
This is from the final results show.  The 4 finalists performed with celebrities.  Here Terry is with his puppet, Kermit, and a few chickens.  The judges were replaced with Animal, Beaker, and The Sweedish Chef.

Although this is totally not my style of music, this is one of the best video mash-ups that I’ve seen.  The mouths and actions are wonderfully synched to the music.  Amazing stuff.

The Jim Henson Company is releasing a line of vinyl toys called “Jim Henson’s City Critters”.  These toys are based on some of Jim Henson’s sketches and doodles for various Muppet creations.  Although none of these really came to life as Muppets, you can definately see Muppet elements in all of them.
